Fire and Ice

By Robert Frost:

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

—This is the only poem that I’ve taken the time to memorize, but I feel like that’s going to change once I read more poems by Robert Frost 🙂

  1. I enjoyed that poem as well as many others by you and some of the other poets on your blog. I recommend that you read “Tne Road Less Traveled” by Robert Frost if you haven’t had the opportunity to do so. I read it many years ago and it still resonates with me–especially the last line or two. You are traveling such a road and are likely to find that taking the road less traveled can often truly make all the difference. I hope you enjoy your travels and the grand adventure we call life!

Thank you for checking out my blog.

From one introvert to another, please keep on sharing with the world all the greatness, goodness, and kindness within you, and may you experience lasting inner peace.
