Our sweet melody

The sound of jazz drifting through the wind wafts a halcyon waltz.
Notes stumble, toppling over each other but they never quite
lose themselves to the raving radiance of the shimmering night sky.
They keep balance.

The stars exhale a breath of wonder for the saxophone’s soft sounds;
their stomach satiated and awed by notes that are connected as one
One body of green and blue that sprinkle across our eyes and sing
in a myriad of different keys.

    • Thank you! I was trying to make it musical to fit in with the whole jazz theme, so it’s so amazing that you said that 🙂
      I was thinking of changing trumpet to saxophone though, so I hope you still think it’s a poetic line!
